Dear festival visitors, dear media partners and sponsors, loyal Nova Rock fans! 

Today is another one of those days that breaks our hearts.

For weeks and months now we have been waiting for and demanding a decision from the Austrian Federal Government on whether festivals and major events will be able to take place in June 2021. While it is the Government’s job to take these decisions, it is becoming increasingly clear that delivering the bad news should preferably be left to somebody else, namely us.

So far our pleadings and demands have been ignored completely. This is disappointing in the extreme. We remain very curious about when and if we will receive information regarding all events and festivals in July and August, as other countries like England, the Netherlands and Switzerland have already provided positive indications regarding these.

This is why it sadly is up to us to make this difficult decision. Therefore, we regret to inform you that Nova Rock 2021 cannot take place. It would have been our greatest wish for you but also for us to rock the hell out of the Pannonia Fields and forget the stress and restrictions of this pandemic for a few days.

We will get back to you as soon as possible with further information regarding plans and further procedures regarding your tickets.
